Anglesey Landscapes - Tirluniau Môn Vol II
(Oct 2008) (Publisher: Glyn Davies Photo-Artist Ltd)

Anglesey Landscapes, Volume II follows the highly successful first book by photo-artist, Glyn Davies. This book contains 52 photographic artworks depicting Glyn’s personal responses to the Welsh island of Anglesey, which the artist now sees as home.

The images in this volume are perhaps some of his strongest to date, with a noticeable concentration on the more dramatic, atmospheric and elemental aspects of Anglesey and its weather. With global climate change having an obvious influence over sunlight hours, the powerful images in this book are perhaps a more honest yet captivating depiction of Anglesey’s landscapes and seascapes than we have previously been used to.

Once again, this book is neither a tourist guide, nor a tourist promotion about this amazing island. It is a new collection of an artist’s images and words, sure to touch the emotions of anyone interested in the great outdoors, let alone those who know and love Anglesey, or indeed live within its stunning coastal boundaries.

The book is case-bound, 120 pages and contains 52 photographs inspired by the Anglesey landscape. Each image is accompanied by a description on the facing page and the entire publication is bilingual.

Anglesey Landscapes - Tirluniau Môn
(Nov 2007) (Publisher: Glyn Davies Photography)

This is a collection of Glyn’s favourite personal responses to the landscapes of Anglesey, those that have inspired him the most but also those that have been most admired and collected by customers. Partly influenced by his upbringing in maritime Cornwall, his vision is neither a tourist guide to Anglesey nor a comprehensive geographical record. These images focus mostly on the coastal areas, and are about atmosphere, dramatic conditions, intriguing topography and unusual observations. As a collection, this is about the spirit of the place Glyn is now proud to call home."

The book is case-bound, 120 pages and contains 50 photographs inspired by the Anglesey landscape. Each image is accompanied by a description on the facing page and the entire publication is bilingual.
