As I swim every day, and so often at Gallows Point, it's been fascinating to see the slow increase in the numbers of boats and yachts appearing on the moorings. Even the moorings themselves appear to be increasing in size and number. The big wheel on the town green has returned too.
It seems to have been a long, dark, wet, and blowy winter, so these blossoming signs of the season ahead make summer seem thankfully a little closer.
