Supposed to be able to see the Northern Lights tonight from Anglesey but with dark clouds and even hail moving in, I preferred instead to concentrate on the beautiful light at the north of the island.
There's been an unusual silence on the island these last few weeks, even during the Easter vacation, and there's hardly anyone out and about on the beaches or landscapes. I have been so happy to have so many gorgeous locations to myself, and once again that was true this evening.
I find it quite incredible that as I swim along at the sea surface, millions of living creatures are right below me, albeit buried in the sand. At low tide you see just how many little creatures exist in such a small space.
