'A Safe Crew' Llanddwyn

Wreck of the Greek brig Athena (1852), at Llanddwyn Beach. All crew were saved by local lifeboatmen. When I was there, the wind was breezy, ruffling the surface of the tidal sand pool surrounding the site of this disaster. I was surrounded by a crew of my own when I shot this as I was being filmed by European TV company ARTE, for a series titled "Islands of the Queen" which was linked to Prince William & Catherine Middleton’s residency on Anglesey.
