"Creatures of the Beach" Eastern Cape

A wild windswept beach at Cinsta on the Indian Ocean, at the Eastern Cape of South Africa. On the sand were hundreds of holes in the sand, and a moment or so after walking past them, dozens and dozens of fast moving crabs emerged from them and scuttled across the beach.

I found this huge wooden log embedded in the soft sand and was taken by it’s figurative, animal-like form.
