Primary Light, Llanddwyn, Anglesey

Amazing coloured Precambrian pillow lavas remain hard fingers of rock pushing into the soft sand and battering Irish Sea, here on a tiny island off the main island of Ynys Môn (Anglesey).

The lighthouse (Twr Mawr) is no longer used but it's presence is still a useful navigational mark for mariners.
