Days before Storm Bert battered the UK with floods and blizzards, the early signs were there; frost-covered summits, dark clouds and big surf, but even in deteriorating weather, there are moments of pure brilliance, illuminating the ancient landscape below. Previous storms have gnawed into the earth cliffs of the Iron Age hill fort of Dinas Dinlle, which now crumbles into the ocean taking with it human history.
